Following viewing the video, turn to page 291 in the text and take the Assessing Yourself, “Are you an Effective Listener?” survey, being VERY honest with yourself! Using the Total Score rating system at the bottom, create an essay of at least ten sentences sharing your results and relay an experience you have had in the workplace where communication issues impacted your ability to perform your duties well on the job. Discuss what you have learned and what you would now be able to do differently as a result of this week’s assignments.
