Required to write a research paper on any topic connected to criminology/ criminal justice. The paper needs to examine a
specific issue related to criminology by applying a specific theoretical perspective (i.e: liberal, marxist, feminist,
postmodernist, etc). The point of the paper is to theoretically deconstruct criminal phenomenon, specifically issues
regarding crime and criminal justice. The paper must include a brief overview of the theoretical approach being applied
and a detailed discussion of how it explains the issue being analyzed.
The topic I have specifically chosen is domestic violence from a feminist theoretical perspective. Must use at leave 6
peer reviewed journal articles as references.
